About Y8.3 Support It 750km

Who are we?
"We are year 8 students from CIS who wants to help refugees in Hong Kong by starting a fundraiser and running as a class to persuade others to donate."

Why do we support refugees?
"Refugees are underprivileged and don't have the right working conditions/enough salary/barely any decent conditions at all to provide for themselves and their loved ones. they have also faced prosecution for no particular reasonable reason, and they are people who need help so it would make sense to help them"
"Refugees don't have rights to work, so they don't have income. They are provided $40 a day, which is not enough to cover transportation fees and meals."

What motivates us to donate?
"Refugees don't have rights to have a job in certain cities, so we need to help them for them to be financially independent."
"In addition to this, excising is good for us and having a good purpose to run further motivates us to donate as we feel like we have a purpose to do so."

How can they benefit from this?
"Refugees are only given $40 a day. With the extra money, they will be able to afford a meal and everyday items."
