About Double Happiness Ultra Challenge: Join Us in Supporting RUN Hong Kong!
Dear friends and family,
We are thrilled to embark on an exciting (and maybe a bit crazy) journey to raise funds for the charity RUN Hong Kong.
Over the coming months, we'll be attempting a Double Happiness Challenge (or perhaps double trouble!) by taking on two ultramarathons to raise awareness and funds for RUN, a charity dedicated to empowering vulnerable refugees, especially women, in Hong Kong.
This incredible charity holds a special place in our hearts, as we've been fortunate to be volunteers and supporters for nearly 10 years, witnessing firsthand the transformative impact it has on vulnerable individuals, especially women and children, right here in Hong Kong. We're inspired in more ways than one by our friend and RUN founder, Virginie Goethals, who is completing an incredible 400 miles ultramarathons challenge of her own!
Race Details:
December 2025: 220km ultramarathon over six days in the breathtaking temple and junglescapes of Cambodia (due to injury, Loz will be volunteering for this one and Amanda will be running)
April 2026: 230km ultramarathon over six days through stunning terrain in Uzbekistan
